Popular Costumes
Some people wait for Fashion Week to see all the new styles. Me? I wait for Halloween. It's the one time of the year that I don't feel overdressed.

Pumpkin-Carving Patterns
Full moons bum me out. Don't even get me started on how often I have to shave. Oy vey! And these fangs! The only thing that keeps me from chewing on the furniture is chewing on pumpkins. Now if only I could translate my four-year art degree into making prettier pumpkins...

Tips for an Environmentally Friendly Hallo-Green!
For me, green is more than skin-deep. It's a way of life. Here are some ways to green your holiday celebrations.
- Buy cleaner, greaner Halloween treats to give out this year.
- Use reusable bags instead of plastic bags.
- Instead of buying a new costume, make your own costume.
- Give treats that aren't sugar-filled candy.
- Walk to your destination, Don't drive. You'll save gas.
- Reuse decorations year after year.
- Send digital party invitations instead of paper.
- Buy your pumpkin from local farmer's market.

Dogs in Costume
There's nothing cuter than a bunch of dogs dressed in people clothes. It reminds me of my little brother's Bar Mitzvah. It gets me all ver clempt just thinking about it.

Confession: I'm a gamer...
The myth about vampires being unable to go in the sun is just that — a myth. With the sunscreen they make today, I could sunbathe all day. The reason I'm so pale is because I'm addicted to computer games. I tell all my friends I play Dracula Twins, Ravenhearst or Monster Mash, but honestly (and please don't tell anyone), I'm a huge fan of Dream Day Wedding. What can I say, I'm a romantic at heart.

Scariest Bedtime Movies

I've been having the hardest time getting my little ones to sleep lately. There are so many ghouls and goblins running around the street. All my kids want to do is play with them. The only thing that works anymore is playing the scariest movie possible. My oldest boy loves Freddie Kruger, but my little girl is more of a zombie fan. Luckily Yahoo! Movies compiled the Really Scary Movie Guide so we always know just what to watch.

Upcoming Movies
Here's a little tidbit most people don't know — Batman is my cousin. You might not be able to tell at first look, but trust me, we have the same eyes. I was so excited to see him on the silver screen this summer fighting that Joker guy. I wonder what fall movies could top that blockbuster performance?

Kid-Friendly Halloween Ideas
My youngest son fancies himself a comedian. Here's his latest joke.
Q: What monster plays tricks on Halloween?
A: Prank-enstein
Hey, give him a break, he's only six. I guess we'll keep that one under wraps, if you know what I mean. If you're looking for more kid-friendly Halloween ideas, make sure to check out Yahoo! Kids.

Bubbling Cauldron Cocktail
It's that time of the year again where I'm trying to fit into my slinkiest black dresses. I know warlocks are happy drinking beer, but that stuff goes straight to my hips. What better way to celebrate my favorite day of the year — and cutting back on calories — than to drink champagne with a little fruit?
